Welcome to... Nipawin Amateur Radio Club on the web
Nipawin is a small community in Saskatchewan, Canada with a population of about 5000. Major industries in the area include farming, forestry, and tourism. For more information, see www.nipawin.com
The Nipawin Amateur Radio Club is an informal group of amateurs who maintain a pair of 2m repeaters in the Nipawin area. Please see the repeaters page for more details.
Tower space for the clubs repeaters is generously donated by VE Radio, the company started by the late Vic Allen (VE5 AE) and operated by his wife Eunice.(VE5 AGV).
The club holds a check in net Sundays at 9pm on VE5NIP and meets Wensdays at 9pm for coffee at the Evergreen Center in Nipawin. An attempt is normally made to check in to the Saskatchewan Net via IRLP during the coffee meeting.
We invite any amateurs within range of our repeaters or with IRLP/EchoLink capabilities to give us a call.
